With the cost of living rising on a daily basis we thought we’d look at some ways to help you earn some extra cash. - aka the side hustle.  Aside from some of the obvious ones like becoming a dog walker, babysitter, blogger or selling items on E-bay we take a look at some fresh ideas to help generate some extra cash for your wallet. 

1. Rent Your Designer items out

Got designer clothes sitting in the wardrobes collecting dust? Time you made those expensive purchases pay for themselves by renting them out. You could earn up to £100 a month, depending on the brands you have. Sites like By Rotation and Hurr allow you to do this.   

2. Get yourself on the big screen

Well almost! The next best thing is being able to feature in the latest films or TV shows as an extra - and get paid for it. Win- Wiin! 3. Test Websites/Apps

If TV and film is not your thing, but you're more technically minded then why not apply your skills to helping out website and app developers. By testing website and apps in your free time, not only can you earn extra cash but you’re also doing good by helping companies out too. 4. Fill out Surveys

Taking part in research or filling out surveys is an easy way of getting extra cash. Companies are always looking for a quick and easy way to gather customer insights. One of the ways they do this is by the use of paid surveys. Some companies will pay over £100 for an hour or more of your time. Get started with Swagbucks, YouGov, and LifePoints.

5. Become an influencer

You’re probably on social media sites all the time. So why not make some money while you’re on them? If you’ve a decent number of followers and interesting engagement rates then platforms like The Room can help you earn some extra money, simply by posting content for companies. You may even bag yourself some free product too! 

6. Be a mystery shopper
